Today is the day, chickies, that we launch the line of Deco Modiste cocktail gowns at the Half Past Lavish Parasol Party.
There’s been a lot of preparation this week, many fingers sewn together, a lot of coffee and trying things on… A lot of colors and washes of fabric, fabric store runs, costume ideas, beads and embellishments. We have a fantastic line ready to go and throngs of people who’ve already bought tickets. If you don’t have yours, pick them up at Brown Paper Tickets before the event (they’re cheaper!). There will be cupcakes, a runway show, parasols, cocktails, and the perfect excuse to get dolled up and come see us walk that runway in the magic European garden setting Half Past Lavish has created.
I’ll be out for the rest of today and tomorrow as we run the show, take a million photos, schmooze and eat cupcakes and recover from the million things we’ve had to do to prep for this show.
