Some time off!

Hi guys!

Bonne Vie is going to be a little quiet for the next week and a half (or thereabouts) as I take myself on a little vacation with one of my best friends, to London!  I’m so excited to go and spend a week overseas – talk about getting out of town.  That means that there will be no new posts for the next week as I’ll most likely be without internet access for extended periods.  I promise, though, that I will come back with a mountain of photographic evidence of all the fun.

In the meantime, here are some thoughts on packing for travel:

If you haven’t seen it, Sal wrote a piece on Packing Guidelines over at Yes and Yes.

Also, if you haven’t checked her site in a day or two, Gala Darling wrote out a humongous list of tips for travel.

Also a short list of Thursday loves for you:

1.  Travel!  There’s nothing like packing and daydreaming and researching your destination city to get you pumped for an excursion!

2.  Northwest weather – it’s starting to be light when I leave the house, and it’s definitely getting warmer!  Yay!

3.  Mister – he’s on my list every time, right??  Well, he IS the best.  He totally helps with website photos and goes on adventures to the art store and makes a mean soupe à l’ognion!

4.  Working with really talented and inspiring individuals.

5.  Hilarious guy friends who tell me about hilarious dates.

Okay, that’s it for now.  I’ve got to make a list of what to pack, and organize mes affaires.
