We are all Wild Things. Â We all know this one fact, even if we do not realize it consciously. Â Our subconscious knows that each one of us is a wild thing. Â We’re often too busy trying to build a fort, where everything is good and nothing is bad, and nobody can hurt us – so busy, we don’t realize how wild we truly are, or how we may be seen.
We may come off as gruff and angry, over-excited, child like, and inexhaustible; we say things like “I’ll eat you up”, and often, that’s a way of saying we’re hurt, or afraid, confused, excited, overjoyed, amazed, and a host of other wild feelings we may have.
We love to make ruckus, rumpus, dance, holler and hold parades. We have wild dreams, and live vicariously. We like to look wild – we want to be un-caught, untamed. We want to be unfettered. We want to stay free…. and wild.
We were born to express our wildness. We were born with a ferocity, a playfulness; we were born to shine.
And so, wild-child, this is your year. Shine on.
